About Ekberg Auto Repair

Our story starts in 1979, when Lyle Ekberg founded Ekberg Auto Repair. In the years that followed, our service center would grow to become a trusted name for tires and automotive repairs in Wakefield, Nebraska. In 2012, Lyle sold the business to his son, Nick, who continues to serve the automotive needs of the community today.

As a family business in our second-generation, we've seen a lot over time. Vehicles have evolved over time, and with them, the types of services and best practices for servicing them. At Ekberg Auto Repair, we work with newer and older vehicles. From routine maintenance to repairs and mechanical restorations, you can count on our ASE-certified technicians for a quality job.

Need an auto part? Our location includes a salvage yard with over 900 vehicles. We also have access to a great selection of new parts.
